Foul breath has affected millions of people due to various causes. However, not all people are aware that they do have this humiliating problem. If you have a colleague, a buddy or even a family member who do have bad breath, it is always wise to let them know. Below are approaches that you can use:

Use discrete statements or signs

When you've observed that somebody has a stinky breath, start a talk. Ask the person what he or she has had for lunch. Then ask again if it has garlic, onion or spices. This can send the message that you need to have sniffed something from him or her. Another technique is when that individual starts to speak with you, you can take a step back inch by inch. This action can send a sign that something might be wrong with how he or she smells.

Give something that's minty

Giving somebody a breath freshener, a gum or even minty candy can send a signal that there's a need to check on his breath. You may also read about bad breath causes to know some healthy ideas.

Talk to the individual in private

If the individual concerned is someone who is near you, inform it privately. You can show that person your truthfulness as a friend by telling the reality. This is in fact, helping the person know his real condition. Your friend will certainly be grateful of your honesty and concern. Nonetheless, if you're not comfortable telling the individual directly, then find someone who can help. If the latter is still not possible, then find a way yet. You can send an anonymous mail to inform that individual. This method will save him or her of the embarrassment.

It is not rude to inform that somebody has bad breath if it is done politely. This gesture will help that individual know his true condition. Additionally, it can also make him more conscious of himself.
